Colin Keane completed a Limerick double on Blackpoint in the Henry Street Maiden.

Thirty five minutes on from successfully stepping in for Shane Crosse on Dragon Of Malta in the Shannon Handicap, Keane teamed up with John Kiely for the spin on Blackpoint.

Third in a bumper at this venue on his only previous appearance 81 days back, the Kodiac gelding unsurprisingly found the drop to an extended mile and three furlongs no problem as he beat Yenillik by half a length.

The 100/30 favourite came through from the rear of mid-division and was switched right over two furlongs out.

Third over a furlong out he ran on well to lead in the final hundred yards.

"Beforehand I thought he didn't get home in his bumper but off that you'd think he has no problem getting further,” said Keane.

“He is a big, raw babyish type of horse and you'd imagine in time he'd be better.

"He got through the ground but wasn't mad about it and being by Kodiac he'd appreciate better ground.

"He is in the right hands and I'm sure he'll be a smart horse."

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Coeur D'or trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Biscayne Boulevard trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Lets Get Started trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left during this race.

T.P. Madden, rider of Buttons And Bows trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls and later in the race hung badly left in the straight.
