The Turf Club appeals and referrals committee will be busy next Tuesday with four cases to consider.

The session kicks off at 2pm with Robbie Colgan appealing a two-day ban for a breach of Rule 10(3)(b) which concerns continued use of the whip after his chance of winning or being placed was clearly gone on Polish Partisan at Galway on October 25.

Barry Geraghty is next up before the committee as he also appeals a two-day suspension at Clonmel for a breach of Rule 212 on Fever Pitch.

The stewards felt he lost fourth place close home in the Download The At The Races App Rated Chase, and so failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures to achieve his best possible place.

Alan Potts is also appealing the decision of the Naas stewards last Sunday not to award the Brady Family Ham Poplar Square Chase to Sizing Granite.

The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding was beaten a head by Devils Bride in the Grade 3 race after appearing to meet some interference after the last.

Co. Roscommon-based Adrian Joyce is also facing the committee over a prohibited substance case.
