Little Empire has been holding his form well on the Polytrack at Dundalk and has a couple of entries at Wolverhampton on Friday to further boost his earnings.

In a two-month period between October and December, Anthony McCann's charge only finished out of the first three on one occasion in seven outings, with a victory accrued in a rated race over seven furlongs in November.

His latest appearance saw him pipped by a short head by a very in-form Nikki Swango in the Dundalk Stadium Champion Trainer Handicap over seven furlongs.

His possible engagements on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton on Friday are in a class 3 handicap over an extended six-furlongs worth £55,000, and in a class 4 handicap worth £35,000 over the extended seven-furlongs.

Kevin Coleman also has the 79-rated Brewing in the same class 4 handicap, and this seven-year-old gelding also has an option of running in the class 4 handicap worth £35,000 over an extended mile.
