Cashel trainer Michael Browne is looking forward to seeing Logo Hunter back in action in early April with a Listed race at Cork on the agenda for the four-year-old sprinter.

The Brazen Beau gelding, who won four of his seven starts in 2021 including two stakes races over five furlongs, hasn’t been seen since pulling muscles in his back when finishing fifth in the Group 2 Paddy Power Sapphire Stakes at the Curragh in July and had to miss an intended comeback run on the all-weather last month.

“He’s in great form and will run at Cork on April 3 over six furlongs," said Browne.

“He got sick in Dundalk (on February 11) and lucky enough I noticed it and he didn’t run. He had a temperature but a few days later he was fine and he’s in great form now.

“He got an invitation to Dubai but we didn’t go.

“I thought he wanted good ground but it was very soft the day he won in Naas (in the Listed Sole Power Sprint Stakes last May) so it won’t really matter what the ground is in Cork, he’ll run.”
