Classic winning trainer Adrian Keatley is keeping his fingers crossed that things continue to progress along the right lines for Naas maiden victor London Icon.

Impressive on start two then, back in October, the Elzaam colt has recently been sold to Simon Kwok.

"It's so far so good with London Icon and we hope to have him out for maybe one of the trials, or the Madrid Handicap the first day of the season," reported Keatley, handler of Jet Setting, heroine of the 2016 Irish 1,000 Guineas.

"He has a couple of big entries and we'll see how we go after the first day.

"He's in the Irish and the French Guineas.

"He has a new owner to the yard, from Hong Kong, and we're delighted to have him on board.

"Pat Smullen sat up on the horse the other morning for the first time since he rode him in his race last year. He was delighted with how much progress he was after making.

"He's after becoming strong and mature and hopefully things will keep going well with him."
