Long Walk Likely To Be Saved Officials at the British Horseracing Board are planning to reschedule the totesport Long Walk Hurdle following the abandonment of Windsor. The Grade One contest was lost when Saturday´s Windsor card was called off due to frost but steps have been taken to find a suitable opportunity to run the race in the coming weeks. 'Whenever a Grade One race is lost we always try to reschedule it and make sure it is ran elsewhere,' said BHB communications manager Will Lambe. 'I am not sure where the Long Walk will go at this stage but we will know more next week once we have spoken to various tracks.' Ladbrokes World Hurdle winner Inglis Drever topped a field of five that was due to go to post for the stayers´ contest, with the news of the rescheduling likely to come as a boost for Francois Doumen. His French ace Baracouda had been ruled out of the original race, which he has won four times in the last five years, due to a clerical error on Monday that saw him fail to be confirmed. ? PA Sport
