Look To The West back in winning groove over fences Henry de Bromhead's Look To The West enjoyed a confidence-boosting victory in the four-runner Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares Steeplechase at Limerick. The 4/5 favourite tracked front-runner Affinity Rock from flagfall and closed approaching the straight. She travelled best to lead straightening for home and increased her advantage before the last. Once that was negotiated, she galloped in by a healthy four and a-quarter lengths from Affinity Rock (7/2). The Westerner mare had fallen in the latter stages of her two previous chases at Fairyhouse and Clonmel. She is now two from five over fences. Jockey Darragh O'Keeffe said: "She had been running well until falling at Clonmel the last day, but I suppose it was just a case of racing at speed and clipping the top of the fence. "She jumped very well today and it was nice to get her head in front. "It was a good bit of placing, it will do her confidence the world of good and she went on that good ground."
