Lyons strikes at Kempton with Lily's Lily's Angel (5/2 fav) made it five wins from seven starts for Ger Lyons when readily recording a third Listed victory of her career in the Betfred Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes at Kempton Park. Always well placed under Gary Carroll, the four year old took a while to pick up in the straight but her jockey didn't panic and she was well on top at the line. Stirring Ballad chased her home without ever threatening having come from a long way off the pace with Love Your Looks in third. Lyons' brother Shane said: "We're three from three here now and I'm sure we'll come back. The plan had been the Group Three in Ireland but she doesn't like sitting in her box, and even with the penalty, she was 6lb 'well-in' here. "She looks great, her coat is like velvet, and we'll be Pattern-hunting now. You'd look for a Group Three now, and hopefully she can get to Royal Ascot if conditions suit." Carroll said: "I got a nice position and she travelled really well, she always does. When she has something to run at she puts her head down and battles hard. I'm five from seven on her now, she has been very good to me."
