Mallowney out for the season Trainer Tim Doyle has been dealt a big blow with the news that his stable star Mallowney is out for the remainder of the season. A Grade Two winner last season, he barely ran a bad race. However, on his return to action this campaign he was tailed off behind Road To Riches in the Clonmel Oil Chase, after which a problem emerged. "Mallowney is out of action until the spring and won't be back until the autumn now," said Doyle. "It was a small injury but it's enough to keep him out this winter."
