A couple of 'shorties' are strong in the market for this afternoon's fare in Naas.

Paddy Twomey 's King Cuan is 4/7 from 11/10 for the featured Goffs Sportsman's Challenge at 3.05pm. Joseph O'Brien's Nemonte is a notable non-runner in this sprint.

Andy Oliver 's Bright Stripes missed an engagement at Down Royal on Friday evening and runs in the Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden (4.50pm) for which he is 1/2 from even money.

Andy Slattery 's Kathaniel is one to note at bigger odds. This Nathaniel gelding is 15/2/1 from as big as 20/1 for the GAIN The Advantage Series Nursery Handicap (4.15pm). He has finished sixth in his last couple of outings in maiden company.
