Marnane and McAteer plunder Dundalk treble via Golddream Golddream (22/1) put the seal on a sparkling 236/1 treble for David Marnane and Luke McAteer when holding on in the BAR 1 Betting Grand National Extra Maiden at Dundalk. He raced in mid-division and took closer order two furlongs down. McAteer made good headway on the stands' side to lead inside the final furlong. The pair weren't home, though, as well-backed Grand Premiere (9/2 - 11/4 favourite) strongly challenged them in the closing stages, however, Golddream edged the photo by a short head. Kalir (20/1) was another length and a-half back in third. Marnane said: "Typical of ours, they usually do (step forward on second run). "We were delighted with him, he was only a couple of lengths behind Jamestown (fourth-placed stablemate) who ran really well the other day (runner-up in Gowran Park). "It seemed like a strong race today. "He's a lovely horse and could be a real good horse. Fingers crossed he is as good as the other Grey Gatsby, Tokenomics." Marnane and McAteer were also successful on the card with Jered Maddox (11/4) and Allsortz (7/4).
