Martello Park opened her account in emphatic style in the concluding mares bumper at Thurles this afternoon.

Mags Mullins' charge had been placed on her first three outings and made no mistake today as she gained important brackets.

The half-sister to Martello Tower was to the fore throughout under Patrick Mullins and asserted down the straight.

The 15/8 favourite pulled clear inside the final furlong to beat Creation by 21 lengths.

"I'm delighted with her and she's very consistent. It's also my first winner for my son Anthony (joint-owner) so I'm charmed!” said Mullins

"I'll see what next but she could go hurdling - she jumps well."
