Martin hopeful with Tijuana Tony Martin is hopeful Tijuana Dancer can reverse recent placings with Prima Vista in the MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday. Tijuana Dancer was beaten four and a half lengths by Prima Vista at the same track at the end of December but a big pull at the weights is giving the wily Martin cause for optimism ahead of this weekend's valuable handicap. "He runs and he took his race well the last day," Martin told At The Races. "Noel Meade's horse beat him very comfortably but we're 15lb better off on Sunday, so hopefully he can turn it around. "It's on the inside track which will suit him as it's a sharper track and we think our horse is a speed horse. "Timmy Murphy rides him and Timmy knows Leopardstown well, but it will all be about luck in that race." A huge field of 26 runners are set to go to post, with Martin also saddling Montan and Northern Alliance. New Phase is a leading fancy for Dermot Weld, while other notable contenders include Capellanus, the Willie Mullins-trained duo Call The Police and Final Approach and Charlie Swan's Prince Of Fire. Swan hopes track conditions do not become too testing for his charge. "He's in good form and hopefully we don't get too much rain or snow," said Swan. "He'd love the ground the way it is at the moment but with 26 runners, you need a bit of luck. "He's been a bit disappointing over fences as he's been jumping a little bit low and things like that. "He didn't run that many times over hurdles but he showed some good form, so we'll see. "AP (McCoy) is coming over to ride him as well, which is always a plus." Noel Meade is looking forward to saddling Prima Vista following that recent Leopardstown romp. Meade knew his charge had to win that race to guarantee a run this weekend, but fears he may have overdone it with the ease of his triumph. "Prima Vista has been in great form since he ran and everything has gone good with him," said Meade. "I feel a bit like the fellow who put on the lifejacket when he was on the plane and pulled the chord before he went out. Now he doesn't know if he's going to fit out the door or not. "We've got into the race all right, but now we don't know how big the backpack is. "He hasn't missed a beat since he ran and I've been very happy with him. He'll handle the ground fine." Meade also saddles Asigh Pearl, a winner on her latest appearance at Fairyhouse. "The mare is in great shape and she has been ever since she ran. She likes to get a little bit of room in her races," the trainer added. "We went round the outside in Fairyhouse and I suppose I'm going to have to do it again in Leopardstown, which is not ideal. "She got lost on the inside in this race last year, though, so we'll have to do it differently."
