Marvellous has been shortened into 3-1 favourite for the Investec Oaks by Paddy Power after 20 fillies were confirmed for next Friday's Classic at the six-day stage.

The Irish 1,000 Guineas heroine is one of six possible runners for Aidan O'Brien, who also has Bracelet, Dazzling, Palace, Tapestry and Wonderfully under consideration.

Four horses have been supplemented at a cost of £30,000, among them the Roger Varian-trained Anipa, who has won each of her three starts this term culminating in a half-length victory in the Listed Cheshire Oaks at the start of May.

Varian told his website: "I have been pleased with Anipa since her win in the Cheshire Oaks. There was a lot to like about that performance; the way she travelled and quickened, and a track like Epsom holds no fears for her.

"She needs to improve again to win an Oaks, but we feel that the manner of her Cheshire Oaks victory more than entitles her to take her chance."

Ralph Beckett's Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Honor Bound and the Hughie Morrison-trained Height Of Fashion Stakes victor Marsh Daisy have also been added to the field, while Tony Coyle has put his Musidora runner-up Lily Rules into the contest.

Honor Bound will be running in new colours. Beckett said: "She has been bought by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa (Al Thani). It's a development that has been finalised in the last few days.

"It will be the first horse I have trained for him, but I already train for his nephews. He has owned many nice horses, including Flotilla, and I'm delighted to welcome him to the yard."

Beckett has a second string to his bow in Regardez, while David Simcock could field both Musidora winner Madame Chiang and Momentus.

John Gosden's Taghrooda has been towards the head of the market since her Pretty Polly Stakes win at the start of May and she is one of two contenders for owner Hamdan Al Maktoum, along with the Dermot Weld-trained Tarfasha.

Ihtimal, who finished third in the 1,000 Guineas, is the sole Godolphin hope for Saeed bin Suroor, with Ed Dunlop having two runners in Amazing Maria and Island Remede.

Peter Chapple-Hyam's Inchila and the Luca Cumani-trained Volume round out the potential field.
