Van Der Neer and Maureen are set to represent Richard Hannon in the Irish 2000 and 1000 Guineas respectively.

The former finished strongly to claim third behind Dawn Approach in Saturday's QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and connections were initially inclined to step her up in trip for the Dante next.

However Richard Hannon Junior told At The Races: "He goes to Ireland, we were really pleased with him. His work has been quite lazy and he ran very well.

"I think he'll want a mile-and-a-quarter in time to be at his best. He hits a flat spot in a race and if we stretch him out stamina wise he'll have an even better turn of foot. He races lazily so will give himself every chance of getting the trip."

Maureen met with trouble in running in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas but came home well for sixth.

Hannon Junior added of the Fred Darling winner: "Maureen ran very well at Newmarket, she was very unlucky. We were very happy and will probably go to Ireland now."
