McCreery in no hurry with French Willie McCreery is keeping his feet on the ground after French Blue made a winning debut at Dundalk last Sunday. The Iffraaj filly wore a hood but showed no wayward tendencies in beating Aidan O'Brien's Moyglare entry Way To My Heart by four and a half lengths. McCreery feels she would not be effective in soft ground so thinks she may only have a small window of opportunity to run on turf before the season is out. "She's come back from it in good shape, she'll make a nice three-year-old," said McCreery. "I was delighted with her and she's come out of it really well. I've got nothing in mind for her. "She might only have one more run before the ground gets too soft and I would be in no rush to give her that. "If the ground goes against her, I'd have no qualms in putting her away and thinking of next year."
