McGuinness completes Dundalk double Jawhary (7/2) provided trainer Ado McGuinness with a Dundalk double today, as the easy winner defeated a stablemate to land the concluding Racing Again May 26th Handicap under jockey Adam Caffrey. Earlier successful with the Cillian Rowan-partnered nine-year-old Comfort Line, McGuinness’ eight-year-old Jawhary was eased down in the closing stages of today’s 1m2f race, when registering a fourth career success, defeating stablemate Doctor Grace into second place. Regarding the Stephen Reddy & William Mullahy-owned winner, McGuinness mentioned “it has taken me two years to win with him! “He did that very easily and is just bouncing at home. We are doing very little galloping with him and he loves this surface. We will probably go back to the grass now and have a bit of fun somewhere. "The second (stablemate Doctor Grace) ran a cracker but it is a pity, as I would love her to win too. She has been knocking on the door and has been consistent. He (handicapper) has her rated very high on the grass, so she is going to struggle on turf." Quotes from Michael Graham
