McManus buys Bluesea Cracker

Aintree Grand National hope Bluesea Cracker is to carry owner J.P. McManus’ colours, having been bought in a private deal on Thursday.

The nine year old mare provided her trainer James Motherway with a big race win when winning last year’s Irish Grand National, under Andrew McNamara. McNamara is to keep the ride.

McManus will be represented by at least four runners in the Grand National for McManus; last year’s winner Don't Push It, Synchronised while Arbor Supreme is an intended runner if making the ‘cut’.
