McNamara due back on Saturday Jockey Andrew McNamara will be out of action for some days having suffered an unfortunate minor injury to his ankle at Galway yesterday. Riding Benalma in a handicap chase, McNamara's ankle was brushed against, then twisted, by another rival at the fourth last fence. Benalma was pulled up by McNamara after the next fence. McNamara today (Tuesday) stated "I twisted my ankle and it is swollen at the moment but there is no fracture to it. I'm on crutches for a few days but should be back race-riding by Saturday" McNamara has ridden 25 winners, including the Galway Plate, already this season.
