Dreamkeeper (11/2) was another wide-margin winner on the Fairyhouse card when taking the the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden under Colin Keane.

Stepping up to a mile and a-half after two unplaced runs, the Gleneagles filly followed the leaders and went on over a furlong out to defeat odds-on favourite Now Maybe by a whopping 10 lengths in the colours of Mrs H Shanahan & Mrs Jane Shanahan.

It was a double for Keane after Dervo Annie s win in race three.

"She caught me a little bit by surprise, winning as easily as that,” said winning trainer NoelMeade.

“I was hoping she had a chance, she got stuck in the mud in Cork.

“She had a good run first time and we went to Cork thinking we had a chance, and probably shouldn’t have run her on the heavy ground.

“I’m a bit stunned to see her run away from them like that. Colin said she’d go further and she loved the ground.

“We haven’t really thought any further than today, so we’ll see what’s coming up. She’s a nice filly and hopefully she’s lucky for them.”
