Review TRAMORE 17TH AUG

Sean Quinlan will certainly remember yesterday's third day of the Tramore festival as he partnered his initial career winner on what was his very first public mount aboard the Edward O'Grady-trained Albatros in the featured Richard Power Bookmakers Handicap Hurdle.

19-year-old Quinlan, who hails from Littleton, brought dual purpose performer Albatos with a well-timed challenge to deny Four On The Trot by a half length.

Pat Fahy is another going through a purple patch and the Co Carloow handler was on the mark when Tribal Princess came home as she wished in the Waterford & Tramore Directors Handicap. Tribal Princess was ridden by Jooey Casey and she could now go to Tralee.

Timmy Houlihan partnered his first winner for Aoife Kent aboard first reserve Indian Desert in the Tote Exacta Handicap. Indian Desert struck the front at the two furlong pole to beat Drive In Style by a half length.

Robbie Burns, who now trains near Dunleer, saddled his first jumps winner following Twokay's smooth success under Ruby Walsh in the Killone Estates Handicap Chase. Twokay is owned by the Rome Syndicate and Tralee could also possibly feature on his itinerary.

The Joe Crowley-trained Golden Glow benefited from a vintage Barry Geraghty to land the opening Quish's Super Valu Maiden Hurdle. The 11/4 shot secured a dream passage through to lead on the inside at penultimate flight and he stayed-on resolutely to land the spoils by two lengths from Baringo.
