Metropolitan Stalls To Be Used At Galway Horse Racing Ireland and the Turf Club today (Tuesday, 20th July 2004) announced that metropolitan stalls will be used for the first time at the Galway Festival next week. Three sets of stalls (two 12-bays and one 5-bay) have been moved from Navan, together with a 10-bay set from Leopardstown.The stalls were successfully tested on site yesterday and the Stewards of the Turf Club have now approved the use of the stalls for the Festival.There will be no alteration to safety limits as a result of the use of the stalls.
