Mia's Anthem wins again for Kelly & Fox Mia's Anthem recorded his second win in-a-row in the UK as he claimed the Renew Holdings Handicap Chase at Sedgefield this afternoon. Trained in Co Derry by Noel Kelly the son of Royal Anthem was a decisive winner at Hexham on his last start and he followed up today with Derek Fox again in the saddle. Sent off an easy to back 7/2 chance the seven-year-old chestnut was settled in rear before making headway from the fourth last. He went second before two out and hit the front before the last, keeping on well on the run-in to beat the 2/1 favourite Highland Lodge by five lengths. Earlier on the card Kelly ran Burnt Sienna (9/1 to 13/2 on-course) in the VHE Construction Handicap Hurdle and she could only manage fifth under Fox. The Anthony McCann trained Duroob was the other Irish raider on the card and he fell three out in the race won by outsider Darsi Dancer.
