Milenium lined up for Bula raid Davenport Milenium is expected to lead the Irish challenge in the £75,000-added Tote Bula Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday when the Willie Mullins-trained horse will be the main challenger of 12 to Champion Hurdle hero Rooster Booster. The Philip Hobbs-trained grey appears in his first race since being beaten by the Edward O´Grady-trained Sacundai at Aintree in April. Mullins has booked Ruby Walsh for the ride on the seven-year-old, who made a pleasing comeback from 11 months on the sidelines when fourth to Solerina at Fairyhouse recently. Davenport Milenium is also in the Giltspur Scientific Tara Hurdle at Navan on Sunday, but Mullins has indicated that Cheltenham is the first preference. Spirit Leader may bid to give Jessica Harrington a second successive major triumph in Britain following Moscow Flyer´s win in the Tingle Creek Trophy Chase at Sandown last Saturday. Spirit Leader scooped two big prizes in Britain in the second half of last season, the Tote Gold Trophy at Newbury and Cheltenham´s County Hurdle. Two possible runners from the north of England are Fighting Fifth Hurdle-winner The French Furze, trained in Cumbria by Nicky Richards, and Chivalry, from Howard Johnson´s County Durham yard. Jonjo O´Neill has put in his Australian import Specular as well as Hasty Prince. Other interesting entries include the Paul Nicholls-trained Rigmarole, who had Hasty Prince back in third when winning at Cheltenham last month, and Hughie Morrison´s Tom Paddington, a winner at Newbury recently. Meanwhile, last year´s winner Fondmort was among 22 horses confirmed yesterday for the £100,000 Tripleprint Gold Cup on the same card. Nicky Henderson´s chaser beat Foly Pleasant by six lengths in this race in 2002, and should he be successful again he will be the first horse to win the prestigious prize more than once. The seven-year-old again showed his liking for Prestbury Park when running out an impressive winner of last month´s Paddy Power Gold Cup. And he will bid to join Pegwell Bay (1988) and Senor El Betrutti (1997) as the only horses to have completed the Cheltenham ´autumn double´ in the same season. Fondmort carried a mere 10st 5lb to victory 12 months ago, but has 11st 11lb this time. The Grade Three contest is normally run on the new course, but has been switched to the old course. Top weight on 11st 12lb is the Martin Pipe-trained Seebald, who was only sixth of seven behind Moscow Flyer at Sandown on Saturday. Pipe has also left in Cyfor Malta and It Takes Time. Both ran in the Tripleprint, with the former finishing unplaced and the latter falling. Michael Chapman´s Ei Ei and Henry Daly´s Young Spartacus, who were third and fourth in the Tripleprint, are set to renew rivalry. Daly has also confirmed Hand Inn Hand. Adamant Approach is said to be on target for the Tripleprint by Willie Mullins. There are two other possible Irish raiders - Michael O´Brien´s Kadoun and Risk Accessor from Christy Roche´s Curragh stable.
