Mill set for Gallinule test Tommy Stack's Tipperary maiden winner Parkers Mill will test the water at Group Three level in Sunday's Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh. The son of High Chaparral ran sixth in a hot maiden at the County Kildare track on his debut at the start of April and showed improvement to score at odds-on next time. Stack's son and assistant Fozzy admits the gelding is held in high regard, but believes he is a horse for the future rather than the present. "He'll run in the Gallinule and seems well, but he's a big horse who will probably be better next year," said Stack. "He's always gone well at home and we were pleased to see him win in Tipperary the last day. "This is a step up for him but we want to know where we stand and hopefully we'll find out. "We'll just feel our way with him and see how we go this season, but hopefully he's a very nice horse for the future."
