Moon Dice is on course to attempt back-to-back victories in the Guinness Galway Handicap Hurdle.

Trainer Paul Flynn will give the seven-year-old a racecourse gallop at Leopardstown in preparation for the Ballybrit feature in two weeks' time.

Flynn revealed that Moon Dice had made a full recovery after being found to be suffering from stomach ulcers when disappointing in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.

"He'll go straight to the Galway Hurdle. He was fairly sick after Cheltenham. He had stomach ulcers, which are easy to cure, but it was a problem," the County Longford handler told At The Races.

"He'll go back to Galway and he should run a really good race.

"He's very straightforward and he'll have a racecourse gallop in Leopardstown next week."
