Joseph O'Brien will step True Blue Moon up in trip for his next start after his fine run at Royal Ascot.

Having won his first two starts, he was quietly fancied for the Norfolk Stakes and ran respectably in sixth behind Sioux Nation, trained by the handler's father, Aidan.

"He was a bit slowly away for some reason and he was last after 150 yards, but he was really getting into gear coming over the line so we'll probably look at stepping him up to six furlongs at some stage," O'Brien told At The Races.

Now You're Talking, a maiden after two starts before the Queen Mary, outran her 66-1 odds to finish fourth, with O'Brien looking to lower her sights.

"I suppose we can always go back for a maiden, but there's a race at Tipperary that might suit, a Listed race," he said.

"She has loads of speed, she should stay further as she's a big mare so you'd be hoping she'd get six at least and she's probably a nice filly to look forward to."
