Jack Davison sent out his ninth winner of the season when Thunderbear landed the nursery at Fairyhouse yesterday and afterwards issued an update on stable star Mooneista.

The Dandy Man filly, a Group 2 winner last term, has been runner-up three times this year but was a little below-par on soft ground when sixth of 19 behind Highfield Princess in the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend.

“She's bucking and squealing," said Davison.

"She's on track for the Prix de l'Abbaye and hopefully we get slightly better ground over in Paris, which is not always the case.

“We'll just keep an eye on the weather, she's also in the Ascot race (on British Champions Sprint on October 15th) so we have options. We'll take it day to day.”
