Moore Looking To The Top Ryan Moore is counting down the days before he partners Hard Top in Saturday´s Ladbrokes St Leger at Doncaster. The 21-year-old has been given the mount on Sir Michael Stoute´s colt for the final Classic of the season, having ridden him to a smooth success at Lingfield in July.Hard Top subsequently landed York´s Great Voltigeur Stakes under the now injured Mick Kinane, and Moore has been to Freemason Lodge to reacquaint himself with the son of Darshaan.'I rode him in work on Wednesday and he felt good,' said Moore.'He´s progressing and he´s a very nice horse, but the favourite looks a very good horse. I rode in the race last year and I´m looking forward to Saturday.'Hard Top is the 7-2 second favourite with the sponsors for the Leger behind the Aidan O´Brien-trained Scorpion, an impressive victor of the Grand Prix de Paris last time.(C) PA Sport
