Kensington Lane (Donnacha O’Brien) who defeated last season’s Weld Park Stakes Winner Black Caviar Gold (Paddy Twomey) in the Group 3 Athasi Stakes over two weeks ago are also both declared along with Sinmara (Joseph O’Brien). Minnie Hauk, successful over course and distance in the Mooresbridge on her return, heads the eight declared for the Tattersalls Gold Cup, the Group 1 race along with the 1,000 Guineas both covered by the Tote World Pool. The world’s highest-rated racemare on any surface is joined by stable companion Edward Hamilton and will face four British challengers. Almaqam (Ed Walker), third behind Calandagan in the Champion Stakes at Ascot last October, Bay City Roller (George Scott), narrowly beaten on seasonal debut by dual Derby winner Lambourn, are in the field along with Royal Rhyme (Karl Burke) and Saddadd (Roger Varian).
