Moran has the Solario in mind for Dont Niall Moran is considering the Solario Stakes at Sandown on September 1 for his useful two-year-old colt Dont Bother Me. The Co Sligo trainer feels the son of Dark Angel has to step up in class after opening his account in a seven-furlong maiden at Leopardstown last week on what was his third start in a fortnight. Moran has yet to confirm Dont Bother Me a definite runner in the Group Three contest over seven furlongs, but would prefer run in the UK rather than take on the likes of Aidan O'Brien here. "He's come out of the race well. He might go to Sandown for the Solario Stakes," said Moran. "I'll just see how he is in the next week when he does a bit of work, but that's what I have in mind. "I'll say he'll stick to seven but he has a lot of natural speed. I don't think I'll drop him back in trip though. "I'll give him another run at seven and take it from there. "He's still in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy over six. He was entered early as he was going well in the spring, but he's a big horse and I gave him the chance to mature before I ran him. "He's had three quick races but he'd go again today. He's a big, strong horse and if you looked at him, you could think he was a three-year-old. "I've trained the whole family - the two half-sisters and half-brother. I stopped with them when I should have let them go and run. "He seems to be going the right way so I have to step him up, but I don't want to be taking on Aidan O'Brien in Ireland. "I'd like to have a go in England but I'll keep an eye on the weather and everything and go from there."
