Rory Mulligan partnered his first double when Ciaran Murphy's newcomer Noble Agenda swooped late in the median auction maiden at Down Royal. Kraar and Joga Bonito were tussling away for honours deep inside the final furlong, but third-running Noble Agenda came home with purpose to nab them.

The winner got up by half a length at 12/1 and beat Kraar (6/1) with even-money-favourite Joga Bonito a short head away in third.

Mulligan said: "Delighted with him. he did everything well and behaved lovely beforehand.

"I was a little outpaced when I jumped out, but coming down the hill I knew I had them covered. He travelled and picked up really well. I knew coming down the hill I was going to be bang there, I didn't know if I was going to win or not.

"I had a handful of rides (for Murphy) and that's my second winner for him. He's good to me so far."

Mulligan also landed the opener on Johnny Murtagh's Magical Moonlight (9/2).
