Mullins drawing a line through Sneaky Punchestown run Emmet Mullins is hopeful Sneaky Getaway can leave behind a subpar effort at Punchestown on Sunday. The smart dual purpose performer trailed in last of five behind Power Of Pause in the two-mile rated novice hurdle after making the running. Mullins feels the testing conditions may have went against the Getaway gelding and he could also step him back up in trip for his next assignment. Sneaky Getaway had previously been a cosy winner over two-and-a-half miles at Fairyhouse. “It was a bit of a head scratcher. He's none the worse, the vets checked him over after the race and he's fine,” said Mullins. “The only good thing it that it's too bad to be true so we'll just have to draw a line through it completely. “We'll possibly find something at Leopardstown for him at Christmas on nicer ground. “He's won on the Flat and he probably wouldn't be in love with the real winter heavy ground. In a competitive race like that it just got highlighted. “We might go back up in trip on nicer ground.”
