Long Dog and Bachasson could potentially clash again in the Paddy Power Future Champions Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The Willie Mullins-trained stablemates were separated by just a neck as Long Dog came out on top in the Royal Bond at Fairyhouse last month.

Mullins also has the former smart Flat handicapper Open Eagle engaged, together with impressive maiden winner Yorkshill, Stone Hard, Bleu Et Rouge and Petit Mouchoir.

Classy bumper performer Tombstone could not have done it any easier on his jumping bow and looks set to provide a stern challenge to the principals for Gordon Elliott.

Woodland Opera is a likely improver for Jessica Harrington, while Falcon Crest defends an unbeaten record over timber for Christy Roche and was last seen winning the 'Monskfield' Hurdle at Navan.
