Mullins in awe of Vautour

Willie Mullins identified Vautour's brilliant victory in the JLT Novices' Chase as his highlight of what was a magical Cheltenham Festival.

The County Carlow handler left the meeting with a record-breaking eight winners, with the likes of Un De Sceaux, Douvan and Faugheen sticking to their end of the bargain.

But having since watched the race again, Mullins was of little doubt that Vautour's 15-length demolition job was the pick of the litter.

Mullins told At The Races: "Watching Vautour I didn't enjoy it because of Annie Power's fall (in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle).

"It's easier to watch a race like that when it's not your own horse.

"When it's your horse you're just waiting for something to go wrong.

"His performance was probably the best performance of the week."
