Mick Mulvany’s Latoyah Of North will be aimed at the Guinness Handicap over a mile and a half at the Galway Festival.

The premier handicap is the 100,000 euro feature on the Friday evening of the week-long meeting, which runs from the end of this month into the start of next.

Latoyah Of North won her maiden at Down Royal at the end of May by 12 lengths, before chasing home well-handicapped Camphor in the Ulster Oaks at the same track just over a week ago.

She is set for a break after running seventh in a handicap at the Curragh on Friday.

Mulvany said: “She will be freshened up for the Guinness Premier Handicap over a mile and a half on the Friday at Galway.

“She didn’t get a clear run at the Curragh, and didn’t get daylight.

“If she gets into Galway, she will have a light weight on her back, and I think she will improve.”
