New Bay ruled out of Coral-Eclipse New Bay will miss Saturday's Coral-Eclipse at Sandown after failing to satisfy trainer Andre Fabre in a piece of work on Monday morning. The French Derby winner was due to clash with Epsom Derby hero Golden Horn in the 10-furlong Group One but Fabre has ruled out a run after he he failed to sparkle on the gallops. Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager for owner Khalid Abdullah said: "Andre Fabre has reported that New Bay did not work well enough this morning to justify going to Sandown for the Eclipse Stakes." He added: "He will now wait and look at the various other options."
