Nicholls out with broken wrist Adrian Nicholls is set for a spell on the sidelines after breaking his wrist in a fall at Musselburgh on Saturday. Nicholls was riding Dorfman for Mark Johnston in the three-runner William Hill Handicap when his mount jinked two furlongs out and unseated the jockey. "I've broken my wrist but other than that I'm fine," said Nicholls. "I've got to go back to hospital on Tuesday for the operation. It's in plaster at the moment but it was a clean break so there should be no complications. "Obviously it's the worst time of year for it to happen but on the other hand, it could have been a heck of a lot worse."
