Ninetieth for Navan in November

Coral Cup winner Ninetieth Minute is being geared up for a return to the track in the Lismullen Hurdle at Navan next month.

The six-year-old last December beat Solwhit, a horse who went on to win his next three starts, including two triumphs in Grade One company.

Ninetieth Minute confirmed that promise with a impressive display in handicap company at the Cheltenham Festival.

Trainer Tom Taaffe is, for now, keen to stick to the smaller obstacles with his charge.

"I think the plan is for him to start off in a two-and-a-half-mile hurdle at Navan on November 8," said Taaffe.

"We'll stick to hurdling, for the time being anyway, and see what happens - maybe targeting some of the long-distance hurdle races.

"He's obviously done well so far, so fingers crossed he can continue to progress."
