Letters Of Note is set to put her Classic credentials on the line in the Leopardstown 1,000 Guineas Trial on April 12.

The Michael O'Callaghan-trained filly was bought by Pearl Bloodstock after her five-length success in a seven-furlong maiden at Dundalk in January and holds an entry in the Qipco 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

O'Callaghan revealed that Pearl Bloodstock supremo Sheikh Fahad and jockey Andrea Atzeni paid a visit to his stables on the Curragh to see Letters Of Note and also another horse the Sheikh's team have acquired, Aggression.

The three-year-old colt Aggression has won his only start to date, a five-furlong maiden at Dundalk in December.

"I'm delighted with Letters Of Note. She's really come on a lot for her first run. She was quite raw up to the end of January. From her run she's just thrived. She's a bit stronger and heavier," said O'Callaghan.

"Andrea Atzeni came over to ride her about a week ago and he was over the moon with her.

"He felt she had a lot of class and a very high cruising speed. He was thrilled with her. It's all systems go for the Guineas Trial at Leopardstown. Hopefully we'll get some nice ground. She's very exciting.

"Sheikh Fahad came to see her the morning Andrea rode her. They were all delighted with her.

"They've also bought Aggression and Kevin Darley rode him that morning. They were also delighted with him."
