O'Brien & Heffernan get a day at Wexford Meeting: Wexford, 27th August 2010 Race: 3 The Stewards enquired into two incidents at the first bend, the first involving Annamay, ridden by K Latham, Crystal Belle, ridden by P B Beggy, Daisyanabelle, ridden by B A Curtis, Luxurious ridden by J P O’Brien, Poinsettia ridden by J A Heffernan, Regal Tramp (USA), ridden by P J Smullen and Summer Glow, ridden by D M Grant where it appeared interference had taken place. The second incident involved Daisyanabelle, ridden by B A Curtis and Luxurious ridden by J P O’Brien. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found both J A Heffernan and J P O’Brien to have ridden carelessly and having taken their records into account suspended each of them for one race day.
