O'Brien drops appeal

Joseph O'Brien has withdrawn his appeal against a two-day ban for careless riding picked up at the Curragh on May 2nd.

O'Brien was given the suspension following the running of the Dermot Earley Memorial Handicap where his mount Tsar Paul was adjudged to have caused interference to Johnny Murtagh's mount Flash McGahon.

The appeal was due to be heard on Monday May 16th but O'Brien will now serve out the suspension on May 17th and 20th.
