O'Brien hopeful Acapulco will make Ascot Aidan O'Brien is still hoping to get Acapulco to Royal Ascot after she was forced to miss Saturday's Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh. Having made a winning start to life with O'Brien earlier this month in a Listed race, O'Brien was keen to test her at a higher level before heading to Berkshire. Winner of the Queen Mary in 2015 for Wesley Ward, Acapulco is in foal to champion sire Galileo. O'Brien said: "Acapulco has a temperature but hopefully she will be all right to run at Royal Ascot."
