O'Brien in no rush with Deauville Aidan O'Brien will bide his time before making any definite plans with Belmont Derby winner Deauville. The Galileo colt shrugged off a disappointing effort in the Derby at Epsom when holding off Highland Sky by a neck in the Grade One turf event at Belmont earlier this month. That race was over 10 furlongs which O'Brien believes to be Deauville's optimum distance. "Deauville has come back from America in good form," said O'Brien. "We will give him a week or 10 days before deciding where we go with him. "A mile and a quarter on good ground suits him."
