O'Donoghue hoping to be back before Galway Irish Derby winning jockey Colm O'Donoghue hopes to be back in action in time for the Galway Festival at the end of the month after fracturing his collarbone three weeks ago. O'Donoghue sustained the injury after being unseated from Diamond Lucy when the filly clipped the heels of another runner in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden at Limerick on June 21. "I only got the stitches out on Thursday, I had a fractured collarbone and a two-inch displacement," he said. "I'll have to get physio on it now and meet with my surgeon to see when I can come back. I'm hoping to be back before Galway."
