On His Own a possible for the Lexus Willie Mullins will reach for the headgear in an attempt to spark 2014 Gold Cup runner-up On His Own back to life. Mullins recently tried the 11-year-old over the cross-country course at Cheltenham but he showed no interest and he has now returned to conventional training. He could now take a big hike in class for the Lexus Chase, a race in which he finished second to Road To Riches 12 months ago, at Leopardstown on December 28. "I might run On His Own in the Lexus, he's doing things his own way now," said Mullins. "I should have put blinkers on him the other day, but I didn't want to do it for his first run round there. "We'll take the kid-gloves off and send him back into full training - I've been too easy on him. "He likes to lead and be up there. I'll get him fit and put blinkers on and let him roll."
