Connections are in no rush with big-money purchase Marakoush, who could reappear over the Christmas period.

Barry Connell paid 185,000 euros for the former Aga Khan gelding at the Champions Sale in 2014 but he only made his jumping debut for Alan Fleming last month.

The four-year-old was turned over at a short price first time up but left that run well behind when scoring impressively at Punchestown a couple of weeks later.

Fleming has revealed that no concrete plans are in place for the Danehill Dancer gelding but he could be back in action over the festive period.

"You'll probably see him again either around Christmas or very early in the new year," said Fleming.

"He's been very well but we're not rushing him and he'll get another couple of runs."
