Palmer lines up German Oaks for Architecture Dual Classic runner-up Architecture will bid to go one better in next month's German Oaks. The daughter of Zoffany ran a fantastic race to chase home the brilliant Minding in the Investec Oaks at Epsom at the start of June and while she disappointed in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot, she bounced back to fill the runner-up spot behind Seventh Heaven in the Irish Oaks. Trainer Hugo Palmer said: "She lost a bit more weight than Hawksmoor (third in Kilboy Estate Stakes) after she ran in Ireland, but we're happy with her." He added: "We'll see how we go, but if everything is going well the plan is to go to the German Oaks on the first Sunday in August."
