Pampar Lady scores for Wash Yer Hands Syndicate Gavin Cromwell’s Wash Yer Hands Syndicate were on the mark with Pampar Lady (100/30f) in Cork’s Follow Us On Instagram Handicap Hurdle today, as the longstanding maiden mare scored under a well-judged Keith Donoghue-ride. Out of 20-race maiden mare Mouskersize and a granddaughter of 2009 Ebor winner Sesenta, Pampar Lady raced mid-field before progressing to challenge in the home straight and eventually scored by four lengths from Vale Of Glory. Cromwell commented “she was placed as a four-year-old but is six now, and it took until now to win. It has been frustrating for the syndicate but nice that she has won. “She is a speedy little mare who doesn’t find very much off the bridle although is settling a lot better this season. She is learning how to race better and Keith gave her a chance to settle. “It was a covid-named syndicate and most are from Meath and Louth but the Cork members are here today.” The Wash Yer Hands Syndicate had previously scored during lockdown, with Malina Girl in 2021.
