Patrick Mullins hoping form continues

Patrick Mullins is keeping his fingers crossed that the fine run of his father Willie can extend through to the Cheltenham Festival.

The Mullins team dominated proceedings last weekend, with Un De Sceaux claiming Grade One honours at Ascot, while Faugheen and Douvan mopped up at Leopardstown on Sunday, breezing away with the Irish Champion Hurdle and Arkle respectively.

Vroum Vroum Mag also provided Grade Two glory at Ascot and Mullins jnr hopes those key Festival players will line up at the Festival in top form.

He said: "All the horses are OK after the weekend and are grand. Hopefully they can stay that way for the next six weeks."
